I grew up in Ohio and March was always the season of change. A week or so ago my Dad called to say they had 10 inches of snow. Two days later the snow was gone, but the melting and torrential rains caused major flooding. I saw pictures on the on-line hometown newspaper and on an on-line media site and hardly recognized the park that was completely submerged. But that’s March in Ohio.
Maybe that’s why most change isn’t such a difficult thing for me. When I was going through a rough time a few years back I read Care of the Soul by Thomas Moore. One statement in particular resonated, like I’ve always instinctively knew this. “Whenever something is being created, it is also being undone.” In this season of change, I thought that would be perfect for Cottage Quotes.
And we writers are always changing things! So it provided a fitting peek into A Writer’s Window.
